4CEE is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The integrity of your personal data is of vital importance to 4CEE and its group of subsidiaries, and we therefore welcome the additional transparency and protection of your personal data required by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We outline the types of personal data we collect from you, why we collect it, and what happens to your data while it is in our care. We also explain your rights under the GDPR and provide contact information in case you have any questions or requests regarding your data.
With regard to retention periods, we store personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of this privacy statement, unless a longer retention period is required for legitimate reasons, mandated by law, or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If you consent to the use of your data, you may withdraw that consent at any time, and we will stop using your data. Your right to withdraw consent and the specific retention periods will be provided to you in the information where we first collected your personal data.
Website Visit Data
Like most companies, 4CEE collects non-personal (anonymous) information, such as the type of web browser, language preferences, the referring website, and the date and time of the website visit. 4CEE does this to better understand usage patterns and to optimize its website where necessary.
Use of Personal Data
4CEE may occasionally ask you for certain information. This happens only when necessary. For example, if you wish to activate a (paid) service, 4CEE will ask you for information such as company name, phone number, (email) address, commercial registry number, etc. This information is necessary for 4CEE to process your request or order.
4CEE shares the database in which your data is stored with its subsidiaries Coforce bv, Diesis bv, Easy Systems bv, ICreative bv, Stiply bv, and Quintensis bv. These companies all use the same security measures as 4CEE and also operate in accordance with the GDPR.
This data is not used by the various subsidiaries for marketing or promotional purposes. For example, if you have subscribed to a Stiply newsletter, you will not receive emails from the other subsidiaries in the group unless you have specifically opted in to receive them (see also “Email Opt-In”).
Sharing Data with Google Ads
Transparency is our top priority. That is why we clearly state in our privacy policy that we only share your data with Google Ads for advertising measurement services performed on our behalf. We always request your consent for such data sharing and use when required by law.
We strictly comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws. We fully comply with Google’s EU User Consent Policy, to the extent it applies to our services.
Data that you provide to us and that we upload to Google Ads is processed in accordance with the Google Ads Data Processing Terms. We fully comply with Google’s EU User Consent Policy, to the extent it applies to our services.
We do not upload any data that is prohibited by law, such as information about minors. We do not upload conversion data related to sensitive categories. We exclusively use the Google-approved API or interface for uploading customer data, ensuring that your data is always handled securely and responsibly. The Google-approved API uses a secure, one-way hashing algorithm called SHA256 before data is sent to Google.
Disclosure to Third Parties
4CEE makes every effort to protect the confidentiality of personal data, preferences, and other information collected through its website. To this end, 4CEE has made substantial investments in its server, database, backup, and firewall technology.
Personal data that you provide to 4CEE is carefully processed and secured by 4CEE. 4CEE will only share your data with third parties if you give your consent, with the exception of Google Ads, unless 4CEE is required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or decision of another government agency.
You have the right to view, change, or delete your personal data at any time. In that case, please contact us at info@4cee.com. To prevent misuse, 4CEE may ask you to provide adequate identification. When requesting access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must include a copy of the cookie in question.
4CEE does not retain your data longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and processed.
Cookie Policy
We use cookies on the various 4CEE websites. A cookie is a small file sent by a web server that is stored on your computer’s hard drive. This file tracks the websites you visit and contains certain information about those visits.

First-party cookies
Functional and Technical Cookies
Technical cookies are necessary for the 4CEE websites to function, to log in (in the case of the partner portal) or create an account, and to detect fraud involving your account. Functional cookies remember your preferences.
Google Analytics (tracking cookies)
A cookie from Google is placed via the various 4CEE websites as part of the “Analytics” service. 4CEE uses this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This information is collected anonymously.
Google may provide this usage information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or to the extent that third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. 4CEE has no control over this. The information Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. The IP address is explicitly not included.
The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Safe Harbor principles and is a participant in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor program. This means that an adequate level of protection is in place for the processing of any personal data.
HubSpot
HubSpot is a software service that uses cookies to gather information from our website users (analytical cookies). These are included, for example, in electronic communications, forms, and downloads.
4CEE uses this information to analyze trends, track website user behavior, and collect demographic data about the user base as a whole. Personal information and associated behavior are only stored when you fill out a form. We store this data in a secure, private environment.
HubSpot complies with the Privacy Shield Framework (EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks) and does not transfer EU data to countries with a less adequate level of protection. These agreements are set forth in the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) established with HubSpot. There is also a data processing agreement with HubSpot regarding the use of the data.
Clarity
Clarity is a software service that uses cookies to track user behavior on the website for marketing purposes. This software begins tracking after the cookie is accepted and collects information solely on an anonymous basis. Clarity processes the information within Europe and has SCCs in place. Clarity’s data processing agreement can be read here.
Clickcease
Clickcease is a filtering service linked to Google Ads. This software tracks the behavior of website visitors. The purpose of this software is to distinguish between “bad” and “good” visitors. Conditions can be set to determine when a website visitor is flagged as “invalid.” This filtering is based on the IP address and is processed in Google Ads to prevent (unwanted) display of new ads. Clickcease temporarily processes this data in the U.S. on Azure servers and is in the process of transitioning to European Azure servers. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) have been entered into for the Azure servers. Clickcease is an Israeli company. Israel is among the countries deemed to have an adequate level of security under the GDPR. View Clickcease’s data processing agreement here.
Leadinfo
We use the lead generation service provided by Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The tool identifies business visits to our website based on IP addresses and displays publicly available information to us, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website, and the tool processes domains from form entries (e.g., “Leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve services. Third-party cookies
Third-party cookies are used to track browsing behavior, history, and user preferences. Examples include the placement of external ads by an ad network, the collection of information to measure and analyze visitor behavior, or the integration of social media channels and features.
4CEE places these cookies on your computer to prevent you from seeing a particular ad too often and to track the number of times an ad is displayed. These cookies are not linked to a profile about you.

Social Media
The 4CEE websites include buttons that allow you to promote (“like”) or share (“tweet”) web pages on social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Some of these buttons use code snippets provided by LinkedIn itself. Cookies are placed via this code. 4CEE has no control over this. LinkedIn’s privacy policy (which is subject to regular updates) explains how they handle the (personal) data they collect through these cookies.
The information they collect is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn states that it complies with the EU level of protection. This means that an adequate level of protection is in place for the processing of any personal data. All information is described in LinkedIn’s data processing agreement.
Opting Out of Cookies
Would you like to enable or disable cookies—or change your settings? You can do so through your browser’s settings (e.g., Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Mozilla, or Chrome).
For more information on enabling, disabling, and deleting cookies, please refer to the instructions and/or use your browser’s Help function. These vary by browser. You can choose to enable the “do not track” feature in your browser.
Email Notifications
As a 4CEE customer, you are automatically signed up to receive email notifications. For example, 4CEE sends email notifications as part of the registration process, when documents are available to you, or as reminders of scheduled activities. 4CEE also sends newsletters to all users to inform them about new products, services, or software updates, for example.
Email opt-in
As a visitor to a 4CEE website, you’ll only receive email notifications if you’ve actively signed up for them. This means that you have subscribed to the newsletter, or that you have downloaded a specific document and actively checked the box to receive informational emails from us on a regular basis. This opt-in is always company-specific.
Email Opt-Out
At the bottom of every email notification sent to you, you’ll find a “manage preferences” link (with the exception of email notifications sent to customers during the registration process). Through this link, you can manage your email preferences and subscribe to or unsubscribe from specific email notifications.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
4CEE reserves the right to amend the privacy policy without prior notice if deemed necessary. We therefore recommend that you review 4CEE’s privacy policy regularly.
